The TA-TS30UN-BW is an innovative turntable pad that ensures optimal record reproduction. Dusting the records with a duster is a real ceremony and an emotional moment for many music lovers. However, it is very annoying that due to the static charge the dust remains stubborn on the records and can only be removed with effort. So that the joy of this ceremony is not cloudy and a relaxed music experience is possible, we wanted to find a way to counteract electrostatic charging of the records. We then searched for the best possible material for a plate surface. Typically, turntable pads are made of silicone, felt or cork, as these materials absorb vibrations. In our view, however, antistatic properties were the most important for the layer. That is why we carried out numerous tests and finally found the ideal material that could meet this criterion: "WASHI". "Washi" is a traditional Japanese paper made from mulberry tree fibres. Due to its characteristic durability, it has been used for centuries for Ukiyo E prints and banknotes. Thanks to its beautiful design and excellent functionality, it has recently been discovered as writing paper and as a material for the interior. "Unryu Shi" is a special type of WASHI paper that is produced using a special process. This creates the characteristic fibre structure on the paper – an expression of high craftsmanship. The combination of WASHI paper and stone paper as a core material gives the plate surface mass and ensures that it is evenly flat. At the same time, vibrations are dampened, static electricity is reduced and the accumulation of dust is prevented. The TA-T30UN is the perfect plate rest that creates optimal conditions for record playback with first-class sound quality.
